Dr. Mireles is an Optometrist, wife, mother of two beautiful girls, and children’s book author. She enjoys helping her pediatric patients see better and sharing her love of books and writing with children. Her two little wildflowers are the inspiration for every story she writes. Her pink cockatoo, Azzie, is hiding in every page of every book she writes as a fun hide-and-seek game for young readers!"
Heather D. Heath is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of professional experience. She completed her BA in psychology at the University of Florida and obtained her Masters in marriage and family counseling from Webster University.
She gave birth to her first and only son, Isaiah, in 2019. He is affectionately nicknamed Papa. Papa is a naturally curious child who finds learning new things rather exciting. Papa’s adorable curiosity led Heather to write a series of books centered around him.
Heather’s books are educational and promote healthy emotions and mental responses in children. Moreover, Papa’s adventures in each book teach children to be curious about everything and encourage self-learning. “What You Doing? Gardening” and other books in the series invite young children to remain curious and learn from little things around them. Heather believes that anyone can be a vessel to teach a child.
